ESTABLISHMENT OF GOVERNANCE FRAMEWORK, POLICIES, PROCEDURES AND ALL DOCUMENTATION FOR THE CONSIDERATION OF REQUESTS FOR FUNDING FROM THE NATIONAL LOTTERY DISTRIBUTION FUND (NLDF)

INTRODUCTION

The Gambling Authority is empowered by the Gambling Act, 2012 (the Act) to regulate all gambling matters in Botswana and to ensure the overall growth and compliance in the gambling Industry.

Section 62 (1) of the Act authorises the Authority to issue a Nationary Lotterry Licence.

Section 63 of the Act provides that a fund may be established by the Minister responsible for Finance into which a prescribed percentage of the proceeds of the National Lottery shall be paid, for the furtherance of national projects.

REQUIREMENTS

The Authority seeks to engage an experienced and reputable consultancy firm to establish the NLDF applications , disbursement , monitoring and evaluation system , processes and documentation.

The Terms of Reference (ToRs) are available from the Gambling Authority via our Virtual Data Room (VDR). Potential bidders are required to register in order to access the ToRs.
