PUBLICATION OF THE DRAFT REQUEST FOR APPLICATIONS FOR GAMBLING ESTABLISHMENT LICENCES-GAMBLING MACHINES WITH LIMITED BETS AND PAYOUTS (LIMITED PAYOUT MACHINES-LPMs) AND INVITATION FOR PUBLIC COMMENTS
The Gambling Authority (The Authority) has begun the process of selecting operators for Gambling Establishment-Gambling Machines with Limited Bets and Pay-outs (LPM) Licences in Botswana. The Authority will publish the Draft Gambling Establishment RFA document on its website from Thursday 25th May 2023
The RFA is the guiding document that shall be used to provide information on the process and information required from applicants to be assessed for the award of licences to successful applicants.
The purpose of the publication is to give the public an opportunity to comment directly to the Authority before the FINAL RFA is published. In that regard, the Authority invites the public to provide comments on the GAMBLING ESTABLISHMENT LICENCES-GAMBLING MACHINES WITH LIMITED BETS AND PAYOUTS – (LPM) RFA which will be available for download from 25th May 2023, on our website by visiting http://gamblingauthority.co.bw and navigating to “resources > download documents” or directly visiting http://gamblingauthority.co.bw/docs/draft-lpm-rfa.pdf
Comments should be sent via email or registered mail to Lpm@gamblingauthority.co.bw, or Chief Executive Officer, Gambling Authority, Private Bag BR 161, Gaborone, Botswana, no later than Friday 16th June 2023 at 1700hrs (Central African Time)
