Tiny Ralefela has been appointed the Chief Financial Officer for the Gambling Authority effective 1^st March 2024. In her role ,Ralefela will be responsible for leading the achievement of strategic objectives, sustained profitability, and operational excellence, through high-performance financial management, procurement, as well as, administration function, in compliance with legislative requirements, and good governance.

She reports to the Chief Executive Officer Mr Emolemo Peter Kesitilwe and develops measures to evaluate the performance of the financial undertakings and ensure periodic reporting. Ralefala is a finance professional with over two decades of post-qualification expertise.

She previously worked as :Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at the Citizen Entrepreneurial Development Agency (CEDA), Management Accountant at the Water Utilities Corporation (WUC) and Finance Manager at the Motor Vehicle Accident Fund (MVAF).

She holds the title of Fellow Member of both the Botswana Institute of Chartered Accountants (BICA) and the Association of Chartered and Certified Accountants (ACCA).She also honed her skills through management development training at the London Business School.

She serves as a Board member of the Botswana Medicines Regulatory Authority (BoMRA) and in the Botswana Institute of Chartered Accountants (BICA) Practice Review Committee. She has represented CEDA as a board member in investee companies including Phika Entrepreneurs Pty Ltd and Ta Shebube Pty Ltd.Ralefela holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting (BCom) from the University of Botswana,
