Job Purpose
To support the Authority in ensuring compliance with the Gambling Act, Regulations and licence conditions through inspections, monitoring activities and investigations of licensees.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute towards the implementation of the Authority’s corporate and regulatory compliance strategy
- Implement the Authority’s regulatory compliance policies, processes and procedures
- Undertake periodic, ad hoc and special inspections in accordance with compliance audit guidelines
- Capture, investigate and resolve customer queries and complaints reported to the Authority
- Assess licensee requests submitted to the Authority and provide recommendations for approval
- Investigate and qualify instances of non compliance, including anti money laundering related activities, and escalate matters to the Enforcement department
- Conduct investigations triggered by suspicious behaviour, tip offs or indications of non compliance
- Compile evidence to support inspection and investigation findings
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with external stakeholders to promote awareness of the Authority’s mandate
- Evaluate the performance of licensees through periodic monitoring and reporting
- Undertake other duties as directed by the supervisor
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Electronic Engineering or related field
- Bachelor’s degree in Corporate Law, Forensics or related field
- At least one (1) to three (3) years’ experience in a similar role
- Understanding of compliance monitoring, investigations or regulatory environments
- Strong analytical and report writing skills
