Job Purpose

To provide messenger and transport services for the Authority by delivering and collecting mail, goods and other correspondence to relevant stakeholders. The role also provides transport services to employees when required while ensuring the safe operation and maintenance of Authority vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver and collect mail, documents, goods and correspondence between the Authority and stakeholders within expected timeframes
  • Transport employees and Authority goods to various destinations safely and efficiently
  • Ensure the safety and comfort of passengers during transportation
  • Adhere to road safety rules, regulations and organisational vehicle usage policies
  • Maintain vehicle logbooks and record all vehicle movements and activities
  • Monitor vehicle condition and report maintenance requirements to the supervisor
  • Assist in ensuring Authority vehicles are properly maintained and serviced
  • Support preparation of vehicle maintenance and management reports
  • Ensure compliance with organisational policies and procedures in the execution of duties
  • Assist with general messenger and administrative duties as required
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor
 
Minimum Requirements:
  • BGCSE or equivalent qualification
  • Valid driver’s licence
  • At least one (1) to three (3) years’ experience working as a driver
  • Basic computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Good knowledge of road safety rules and regulations
  • Ability to maintain accurate records such as vehicle logbooks
 
Added Advantage:
  • Experience working in a public sector or regulatory environment
  • Experience providing messenger or administrative support services
