NOTICE IN TERMS OF SECTION 5 (h) OF THE GAMBLING ACT (CAP 19:03) DIGITAL, VIRTUAL, INTERACTIVE AND SHORT MESSAGE SERVICE (SMS) COMPETITIONS, GAMES AND QUIZZES
Notice is hereby given in terms of the provisions of Section 5 (h) of the Gambling Act (Cap 19:03) (“the Act”), that the Gambling Authority (the Authority) with effect from 6th May 2024 receive applications and registrations for Digital, Virtual, Interactive and Short Message Service (SMS) Competitions, Games and Quizzes.
The applications and registrations are open to persons who are interested in operating Digital, Virtual, Interactive, SMS Competitions, Games, and Quizzes where participants or members of the public will be required to pay money or other valuable consideration; via digital, virtual, interactive, and short message services with a chance to win a prize.
