ENFORCEMENT OFFICER

Job Purpose
To support the day to day implementation of the Authority’s enforcement strategy through investigations, intelligence gathering and monitoring activities aimed at addressing illegal gambling, anti money laundering activities and regulatory non compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Contribute towards the implementation of the Authority’s corporate and enforcement strategy.
  • Implement the Authority’s regulatory compliance policies, processes and procedures.
  • Assist with investigations relating to illegal gambling activities and regulatory breaches.
  • Assist with monitoring activities aimed at identifying suspicious gambling related activities, including anti money laundering matters.
  • Conduct investigations triggered by suspicious behaviour, tip offs or indications of non compliance.
  • Analyse and compile evidence to support enforcement and investigation activities.
  • Liaise with law enforcement agencies on identified compliance breaches and illegal gambling activities.
  • Compile periodic reports arising from monitoring and investigative activities.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders to promote awareness of the Authority’s mandate.
  • Undertake other duties as directed by the supervisor.
 
Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Law, Criminology or related field.
  • At least three (3) years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Understanding of investigations, compliance monitoring or regulatory environments.
  • Strong analytical and report writing skills.
